He has played 51 first grade games before his 21st birthday, he turned 21 two months ago.
He will be on 1 million a season within 3 years if he goes injury free.
He should be in our starting side this week.
    No.
He should be rested until next season.
    He's special...too special to risk.

We should keep going with the team that played the Dolphins as it has the momentum now.

Most clubs in the nrl would be lining up to sign him if they thought he wanted out of the chooks

It will be interesting to see what is posted about Walker when he has some poor /average games which he will have.

Folk on here love to criticise players during and after games especially losing games so one would assume Walker will cop it as well.

Yeah, bennett would sign him so would the Broncos imo there will be no shortage of interest he is such a talent at his age.

If Sammy doesn't regain his starting spot over Hutch by seasons end then surely a release is on the cards.

You won't ever win a comp with Hutch as your half unless Freddy, JT or Lockyer is your 5/8th.

                  It's just a fact.

Where as Sammy is a generational talent. One that Robbo doesn't seem to rate based on his selection calls.

He'll become one of the great halfbacks. I'm convinced of that. Perhaps at the Dolphins while we have Hutch leading us to 10th every year instead.

Folk like you who have an obsession with Hutchison
and who think Robinson can do no wrong
will death ride Walker as you seem to be doing now
now your obsession is to downplay his value
to justify his dropping and applaud Hutchisons every move.
It really is sickening you can be so two faced.

Robbo said in the pre-game presser that as soon as Walker is 100% fit he will be back in. He isn't playing this week because, despite playing 80 min in Reggies last week, he was not able to fully train with the squad this week, only completing a partial session yesterday. Robbo also said that he is our long-term halfback, and he will therefore be back as soon as he ready.

He is not being frozen out, despite what some of the Chicken Little's of this site like to espouse.

                          Well that's good to know.

It's also an admittance by Robbo that he got it dreadfully wrong in dropping Sammy because it's not like he's had a bunch of games in NSW to hone his craft.

Personally if Sam wasn't dropped I think we're still chasing top 4. Hardly unrealistic given we could have easily snagged another 2 or 3 wins with Sam at halfback.

There's no doubt the move cost us our season.

Not surprisingly Robbo will never come out and admit he was wrong, despite it being an obvious error to many people..

He is too proud to admit his mistake!

I thought he only played two games in reserves and got his ACL strain.

That’s my concern that he refuses to play Sammy due to pride resulting in jeopardising the entire team and club’s standing. For me I see Robbo as acting very weird and irrational this season as if winning wasn’t a priority. His selection choices ended in complete failure. He’s now gone back to playing players in their proper positions. But what if the eels game comes down to goals and our best kicker is not selected? Why when we are so desperate is Robbo not covering goal kicks too? I think Walker is just being treated with contempt. He is our best goal kicker and it is a do or die match. Robbo is clearly not putting the team first.
