People on this forum pretend like they never suggest that Manu can play 5/8 when talking up his skills or that we could hurry Teddy out the door and play Suaalii at fullback with Manu at 5/8. The point was that none of them have played together because there’s been 1 or 2 injuries all years keeping them all playing together

Sammy did not deserve to be dropped in my opinion. But if you are going to do it, bring a halfback in so it doesn’t unsettle your entire backline (Keary to halfback, Manu to 5/8, Suualli to centre). Not to mention the players around them as they were swapping players from left side to right side (& vice versa) to accomodate all this. It just disrupts everything, all of the pre season reps and in season combos. Look at our clunky attack, this is due to a lack of cohesion and combos. Also as a club we don’t have the luxury to make unforced changes unless absolutely warranted due to the high frequency of forced changes we get hit with (injuries, suspensions etc.) throughout a season.

Pick which option is best for the team
1. Persevering with Walker in 1st grade until he finds form. Everyone else plays in their preferred positions.
2. Dropping Sam Walker. Playing Keary at 7(when you know he's not a organiser) Manu at 6 ( When you know he's no playmaker)Suaalii in the centres (when you know he struggles with his defensive reads and alignments).
3. Blooding Sandon Smith at 7. Everyone else plays in their preferred position.
A coach on $1.3 million a year should be ale to make the correct decision.

it's worth the same as anyone elses.... nothing more
so don't go having a hissy fit when I tell you mine
which is
that yours is utter garbage,
you are totally in denial,
so you think this seasons cluster fuuk is all the players fault,
and we don't dare spray any vitriol towards the guru coach.....
because he's immune to that shiit.
go lick a doll.Last edited by NorfolkStreetKid; 07-20-2023, 06:29 PM.
