I wonder if this thread would have been started had we won?

I have been saying for ages we will never win a comp with Friend at No 9 in fact we wont win a comp with him in the 17. He is a whole hearted player who would be suited to a Brisbane or Cronulla but for the Roosters it just doesn't work.

        Definitely a weak link.

Cost us a couple tries with poor options today IMO. The dropped ball a minute out from half time was crucial.

Worst though was just how utterly buggered he looked the final 15 mins. While slow, his passes are normally to the chest, but that last 25 mins he looked like he was drunk with how many balls were going at players heads, thighs or behind the man.

Mitchell needs to come back in the side and start, with friend getting the last 15 mins of the first and the first 15 mins of the 2nd half each game.

He did cop a heavy knock late in the match It definately slowed him down That said he hasnt been anywhere near his best of late

To be fair today he didn't actually play badly, he just looked completely buggered at the end of each half which is when all his poor decisions were made

His fatigue in the 2nd half was due to a heavy knock he took trying to make a tackle

They say these days that your one nine seven and 6 are your key players our 9 and 6 are woeful

How long does it take him to make a Schnitzel roll?

I was a massive Friend fan in 2010. He still does some good things but now seems incapable of accurately passing a ball.

And Jake missed the tackle on nightengale that led to the dragons second last try!

Jake is certainly struggling at the moment. Hopefully he will come good but his service is very inconsistent at the moment.

I knew Friend wouldn't make the 80. Anthony Mitchell needs to be on the bench. If not him then Morts.

Agreed, I thought it was his best game this season. His forms been down but he's playing his way out of the hole. I don't think Ive ever seen a player who hasn't gone thru a period of bad form.

                            You know it makes sense.

Yep it would have...Was getting more agro with his performance the longer the game went on.
