Jake Friend...

Cannot score a try no matter what. So slow off the mark, and his runs from dummy half are like a visit to the dentist. Plus he lies on the tackled player like he is on a beach in the Whitsundays. Throw in hands like shoe horns and we have the worst hooker in the comp. By far.

I'll take him for the first and last 20 of the games, but we NEED Mitchell.

Agreed, I don't think Friend was THAT bad, he always tops the tackle count.
But I still think Mitchell is needed for impact and creativity around the ruck

he needs some time in Newtown. He'll be back, for sure, we've seen he has great potential, but so far this season he's gone missing, and putting all our faith in him (like leaving any utility/hooker replacement off the bench today) hasn't been fruitful for us
