I don't mind B. Kelly. at all Good livewire style player. Like a lot of the indigenous boys, he has fantastic athleticism, can break a game open but tends to drift in and out of games. Ad-lib sort of player. We have missed that a bit.Comment

Watching him struggle against Reimis Smith is what made me think geez we really need to sort out this left centre position as we haven't had any stability in the position in the spot since Josh Morris retired after his injury late in the 2021 season. I'm fine with re-signing Billy Smith on a 1yr deal. If he's good enough to improve and fight for his spot then Brian Kelly on a 350k contract isn't going to hold him back if he's playing good enough. Same goes for Robert Toia and Jordan Swann who from what I've seen are both exciting prospects but both will be playing Jersey Flegg this weekend. They are still two grades off making the first grade side. And again if they are good enough then Brian Kelly on a 350k contract isn't going to stop them.
Brian Kelly is a very good defender, offers some creativity in attack and averages over 20 games per season.

Offers an option in attack ... tick
Durable .... tick
I just want some continuity in the side, has nothing to do with an agenda. I've defended Billy Smith on here plenty of times.
