Reimis Smith & Nick Meany didn’t look too bad last night.

Don’t forget when we picked up Brett Morris for a steal because they didn’t want him.

I wouldn’t be too worried about what the Bulldogs think of players..

I admit that I don't watch Brian Kelly that closely, however, my 'casual' impression is that he has a fair few errors in him and drifts in and out of games. I may well have that wrong judging by the enthusiasm for his signing so far in this thread?

I like Kelly, has a good offload

He does have a case of the "Josh Dugans" though as in he lays down injured at least 5x a game
That would annoy me non stop as a fan

He does have some errors in him, over the course of his career he averages around an error per game which would be in the top 25% percentile for centres. But that is more typical of centres who are looking to create for their winger which he does often try to do so you kind of take the good with the bad there.

As for floating in and out I think that’s probably more a reflection of playing in Titans sides for the last 5 years, I can’t say I’ve seen concentration issues with him.

I hope not Alamotti is as slow as a wet week, he was supposed to sign with the Cowboys but they pulled the pin and the dogs don't want him.
I've always had a bit of time for Kelly he has a good left foot step and can set his winger up.
We used to give our trash to the dogs but lately we have been taking their scraps and they have been duds.

Decent player, certainly better than a lot of our current backs. But if he was to come here, good chance his career will go backwards the way Robbo is going nowadays

I’ve never seen that dogs player play but if he’s as slow as you say he fits the mould of a robbo player

Prefer Kelly to Alamonti. I’ve always rated Kelly, surely our recruitment can push Suualli out the door, sign Kelly and re-sign Turps & Brown.

That's interesting and it might fit since Crichton will probably play Centre for the Dogs next year. One less spot for him.

Think Cowboys are the front runners to sign him to replace Hiku who is going to super league.

George Peponis didn't want Jonathan Thurston. That's why he offered him to Ricky Stuart.

Decent player would come cheap, but I'd pass. Until Suaalii is gone he's a Rooster, and despite presumptive reports we truly don't know if he stays next year. If he does go, I suspect Billy will be given the start at the beginning, while Toia goes to reggies. If Toia plays well in reggies as I suspect he will, he'll be our long term centre

Yep that is a real sensible move....wtf he can go get prepped for union on their coin.

We should make him join the Wallabies a year early as punishment for the way he has betrayed us

At 27, you could still comfortably give him a 3yr contract. One of the best defensive centres out there and offers plenty in attack too. Couldn’t see him costing more than 300-400k.

Not sure what’s going on at the Titans but would be a good time to strike whilst they’re focussed on other issues and don’t seem to be too interested in locking up Kelly.

Would lock down a position we have struggled to fill since Latrell Mitchell left.

                                Thoughts?
                                I like the option.

I am sick of fill ins at centre.
