I’ve got a feeling Lodge might have played his last game for the roosters

I'd be giving Angus a spell in reserve grade. If it's good enough for Walker he should be given the bad news.

I haven’t missed seeing Radley or his slow motion passing game etc.

I would like to see Nathan Brown in the side somewhere. Great acceleration, passing and his offloads aren’t sloppy.
              EASTS TO WIN!

No chance. He’s young, has ability and we have invested in his development. He definitely won’t get picked ahead of some veteran on the wane.

Agree he has been useless this year

No he’s not. Apart from one obvious bad pass I think his overall game was quite good. Running hard making meters and defending well. Are you basing your assessment on that pass or on previous games? He has been poor before yesterday.

Teddy playing 3 or 6 is not beyond scope. He practically does it often each game when he interjects himself around the ruck and shuffles around the opposition looking for an opening.
I’ve said before I think when Teddy is at the end of his career and he’s declining centre would be a great move for him. He played there for Italy many years ago when Mini was fullback and looked great.

6 is a stretch though, similar to Manu Teddy doesn’t know how to play with any structure. He doesn’t know how to get players moving off him and around him, his kicking game is horrendous I don’t think I’ve ever seen a first grader try so many short kicks only to completely miss the ball and he’s very one paced in everything he does with the ball.

Manu showed last year he can play at centre and play as a second fullback putting up tremendous numbers, I don’t see any reason to put Tedesco in the centres & Manu at fullback. It just weakens both positions.

The pass was extremely poor. Stupid play at a critical time and could have cost us the win.
But my frustration with goes further than that.
I don't think his running game has been great, and he seems good for a couple of handling errors a game. I know he's a lot better than he's showed this year.

Whyte gave us a punch through the middle we've been desperately lacking.

Rads should 100% come off the bench but he's Robbo's pet - impervious to criticism unlike Sammy - so he'll back into the 13 and be applauded for sticking up for his mates when he headbutts someone else.

Reasonable points however, I believe we get the best out of Manu from fullback were he's like a free range chicken and is free to run especially off kick returns.
                            Yesterday wasn't a one off.
If we all recall last year's WC game he blitzed for NZ playing fullback. Every league journo was in awe at his ability outside of his usual centre position.

I agree Manu’s best position is fullback and by a very big margin. Great at centre when he’s on, but better at fullback where he’s always on. How do you get 300m+ from him at centre? Our centres rarely ever see the ball. That inside support play off Sitili in the 1st half was sublime. No way in the world do we win yesterday with Manu in the centres, and it’s debatable whether we’d have won with Teddy at the back either based on this year’s form. We have two world class fullbacks; a real dilemma for the coach.

You can do it and the chooks have before, you just need to get early ball there, but mainly manu needs to start roaming like he has done at the end of the last couple of season
come in field on most sets and act as a 2nd fullback and increase his work rate from centre

he has done it before, tommy Turbo did in Origen so can be done

he is a hell of a better centre then 6 so centre only option
