With a smile and much conviction he replied he enjoys running the ball. Almost 300m he covered. Its a no brainer.
Teddy playing 3 or 6 is not beyond scope. He practically does it often each game when he interjects himself around the ruck and shuffles around the opposition looking for an opening.
6 is a stretch though, similar to Manu Teddy doesn’t know how to play with any structure. He doesn’t know how to get players moving off him and around him, his kicking game is horrendous I don’t think I’ve ever seen a first grader try so many short kicks only to completely miss the ball and he’s very one paced in everything he does with the ball.
Manu showed last year he can play at centre and play as a second fullback putting up tremendous numbers, I don’t see any reason to put Tedesco in the centres & Manu at fullback. It just weakens both positions.

But my frustration with goes further than that.
I don't think his running game has been great, and he seems good for a couple of handling errors a game. I know he's a lot better than he's showed this year.

Yesterday wasn't a one off.
If we all recall last year's WC game he blitzed for NZ playing fullback. Every league journo was in awe at his ability outside of his usual centre position.

Our centres rarely ever see the ball. That inside support play off Sitili in the 1st half was sublime. No way in the world do we win yesterday with Manu in the centres, and it’s debatable whether we’d have won with Teddy at the back either based on this year’s form. We have two world class fullbacks; a real dilemma for the coach.
come in field on most sets and act as a 2nd fullback and increase his work rate from centre
he has done it before, tommy Turbo did in Origen so can be done
he is a hell of a better centre then 6 so centre only option
