Agree, 5/8 and HB is the only position where I think Hutch feels comfortable to play solid without being found out.

I think he's our option there for the new few weeks whether we like it or not.

I have a feeling Robbo will push Teddy into the halves.

my gut is telling me he’s a numbers guy, and after joeys numbers at the back tonight and more importantly, earning the 2 points

i feel Robbo will stick with Joey at the back and push Teddy to 6 and further experiment with the Halves until we get either Luke or Sam back.

Every time Joey plays fullback he absolutely kills it; today was no different. Imagine how good he’d be if he trained and played in that position every week, not just as the occasional fill-in.

I’m not sure about Teddy in the halves, but I reckon he might go OK at centre to replace Allen or Smith. It will be interesting what the coach decides to do as at this point in their careers, Joey might just be the better fullback.

I’d bring Radley straight back in but onto the reserves. Take the ball playing link part of his game out and just get him to run hard

Radley just needs to focus on being a owrk rate player for a while! Stop tjhe big hits, stop trying to ball play and just cart the ball up! he gets great metres when he carries! Just keep the breathing going and tempo consistant.
I do think much of his repuation is warranted and brought on by himself, but a lot was born in the Magic Round season where he copped a bad wrap for pedantic officialdom which scarred him mentally and had a label put on him! Still, he's had time to adjust! The headbutt nonsense against the Dragons was just childish!

Brown was great for us today, and so was Whyte, and Nat and JWH, Angus looked better too.
Collins goes back in i guess, or might be rested. Radley at anywhere near his best has to be there,
if he can get his head right and play footy
instead of trying to be an enforcer.

Agree with Billy Smith, when he returned from injury this year, he was going well.. been very average the last couple of rounds though. Hopefully he shows some enthusiasm in defence next week.

But Joey said it himself post match when asked if he enjoyed the fullback position.
With a smile and much conviction he replied he enjoys running the ball. Almost 300m he covered. Its a no brainer.
Teddy playing 3 or 6 is not beyond scope. He practically does it often each game when he interjects himself around the ruck and shuffles around the opposition looking for an opening.

Totally agree about Whyte but sadly I suspect he’ll be dropped in favour of Radley and Brown.
