Enjoy the win for the weekend and we can complain tomorrow.

That was a satisfying win. Other than maybe Wong, our best available were all selected, in their preferred positions, and gave it their all. 2nds got a rare win too. Must be very motivational to see that if you do play well you might actually get a run in firsts.

When they asked Adam O'Brien in their press conference, "What do you hope to see your side improve on for next week" he said "they need to want to win like that mob we played against did today."

He only had a beard last week because he wasn't your mom at that point.

He has been running the ball down the middle and early in the count for his entire time at Easts. Nothing new. For years I was angry at the coach for instructing him to run the ball up like a forward. I was obviously wrong in my protest.

Positive thing is we won’t be missing half our side and whole spine every week.

                Lighten up.

After watching Nat Butcher today does this mean he gets pushed into the prop forward rotation full time?

He was immense and put egg all over my face

Also we played well as a team both in attack and defence, great team win!

Great win by the boys, who showed lots of heart (under some fair adversity) and a desire to win.

The only thing I was a little bit mystified about was that in the first half when Brown came on he ran the ball up strongly and did some really great ball playing. In the later stages of the second half there were a few sets where we were struggling to go forward and I thought he could have a second spell.

But irrespective, really proud of the boys and will enjoy the win.

It was good to see them all put in. I thought Jared was great, Brown and Whyte as well. Manu and Toops, Pauga puts in. We scrambled for each other which was great to see. Newcastle burned so many chances, and the gaps were there and we took them. We live for another week.

You could mention every player. A brave win where we needed to hold on and win, and did. They didn't even get that close, a couple of against the run of play tries including their last one.

Whyte was enormous and must be signed for 10 years. Anyone still want to get rid of Nat Butcher?

Just all round such a better performance, but let's hear from the Les Miserables and Ray Stehrs of the world, why it was still no good? I hope not.

If you didn't enjoy that, you are not a Roosters fan.
Laughable, how far we've fallen. The only reason we "won" today was because Newcastle are more inept than us. They bombed 5 tries and the killed us in line breaks. Our "defence" is attrocious. The best thing about today was seeing Young in full flight and the impressive game from Sandon Smith, other than that, pathetic.

Great game by Nat, leave him in the front row and that way ther is no expectation of him passing the ball for any second phase play.
