    Yes mate,an absolute moron..

I still can’t get over his actions towards Walker on the field that day, those things just shouldn’t happen so graphically..

Imagine Radley’s reaction if Walker did that to him on the field after his brain dead errors game after game..

Lose today & without a doubt we are finished for 2023 if we are not already.

Walker should not be risked with such an injury.

Knowing our luck he'll be brought back for meaning less games & fully tear his ACL.

Robbo's team management this year has been a disaster.

He was always being targeted in defence, and he showed plenty of guts,
he should have had more support there too.
Lockyer probably missed more tackles that most halves, but the Broncos put a minder next to him in Tonie Carroll, who smashed anyone who can near him and Lockyer hard.
If you have a brilliant young half like Walker you have to support him.

I would have expected more from JWH than to bag the young bloke, maybe it was frustration,
maybe Teddy felt Walker was disruptive to his leadership..... which hasn't been anything great by the way,
The coach fukked up, lets hope he has learnt a lesson
Lets hope they have all learned something,
leave your fukkin ego in the dressing room, and play for the TEAM
If only Robbo could read the above - because it is dead set spot on - word for word.

Yeah but this works both ways too. You can't just decide to do something off your own bat on the field if none of your team mates know whats going on. I know I would be pissed if I was busting my gut in defence and then the flashy young guy decides tot ry a chip kick on the 3rd tackle. There's a time and place for these instinctive plays and that's the part of the game that Walker struggles with. Sometimes you just have to stick to the game plan as boring as that may be

Walker was the halfback..... he was there to direct the play, and to create opportunities.
He wasn't the problem, which is obvious because since he was dropped the problem has become bigger.

Looks like it could be a Smith and Walker combo in the halves going forward with Keary's grotesquely swollen jaw.

                  I think that’s a false narrative.

I think Robinson’s intention was to put him back into reserve grade for a couple of months, let him develop his halfback skills and then bring him back into first grade.

Given he’s instead spent that time on the sideline, not developing do you then write off his season completely and say well I’d rather you still get those couple of months of development or bite the bulletin and bring him back into first grade.

Well Mr Burns had done it, the power plant had won it, with kearys grotesquely swollen jaw......we're talking softball.....

also, i think it was fair enough to try joey out at 5/8. he played there a couple of times last year and killed it from memory. got a few dally m points. and it gave the club an opportunity to see if he is an option at 5/8 when luke retires.

Exactly. Couldn't agree more. Problem being that he was only performing half his duties

You're giving Robbo too much credit. He has made so many mistakes this year and dropping Sam was just one of the many. The only benefit I see in dropping Sam is keeping him away from Cronks dud half coaching. Bring Joey back as the halves coach. Our halves have never gelled under the Robo/ Cronk coaching duo.

The same Andrew Johns who was sacked halfway through 2018 roughly around when we went on a run to win back to back premierships?

And you think I’m giving a coach too much credit?

Spot on mate. No room for egos; none out there today and we jagged a win.

No, the problem was that the coach couldn't get the team up to speed to back Walker up.
