The Guru prefers sendingplayers down rather than bringing them up. He obviously has favourites, and maybe that is one reason that we are not performing.

NRL clubs can sign 30 players plus 6 Development Contract players.

Clubs can also sign players to extended bench contracts - these players are usually on $1000 a week if required to train full time with the NRL squad and $3000 per NRL game they play.

I understand Clubs have to obtain approval from the League to play players on extended bench contracts - i.e cover for injuries where no other players are available etc

Not sure how they obtained approval for Zach Dockar-Clay to possibly play NRL as he was 18th player vs Penrith as they do have other Top 30 players available.

The Roosters are still listed as having only 28 players for their top squad - 6 development contract players in Sandon Smith/ Ben Thomas / Tui Katoa / Junior Pauga / Thomas Deakin / Vuate Karawalevu and an Extended bench of Elie El Zakham / Zach Dockar- Clay

Whyte and Wong, for either of the Butchers or Gus, it seems like every offside, laying in the ruck 6 again or penalty is against 1 of these oxygen theives

I had sports ears for Sat night’s game and Sitilli was the main offender for the penalties and 6As, mainly being offside.

You can use any player outside your top 30 after round 11

The rules changed a few years ago...
