I’m not defending Robbo but the only mistake he has made was building an ineffective spine. He has a young halfback who was coming in after Cronk and was never going to play like Cronk. When Walker played his own game he was going fine but then enter coach Cronk and they tried to fix something that didn’t need a lot of fixing and Walker became the casualty.
Second mistake, Robbo signs the great Brandon Smith. As a utility player, Smith was very effective at the Storm but as a starting hooker he is a major disappointment. His passing game and energy are very poor which has put pressure on our middles and our halves.
The third issue is Rads. He isn’t amongst the better locks in the NRL at this point in time. He is either suspended or in the causality ward and isn’t half the spine player he once was.
Robbo has a wonky spine that is all over the place and nowhere near performing. This problem has had a ripple effect across the whole team and as a consequence our attack and confidence has hit rock bottom.
