  • Maybe Robbo needs a break from the game

Boring and predictable attack that just keeps putting us under pressure defensively.

everyone playing out of position for no real reason.

don’t doubt his ability to coach and win premierships but maybe a break away from the game is in order - something is definitely up.

I think a permanent break is the only option.

Maybe we need a break from Robbo.

There's obvious issues that no-one in the hierarchy seems to want to address.

I think most of us are getting very bloody sick of it.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

He won't have a say in the matter the way he's coaching this season, so so many unforced errors by him.

I’ve run out of patience. We’ve been awful all season and there are no signs of improvement. Robbo has been unable to rectify the defensive issues or address our pedestrian attack. He keeps picking players out of position like Drew & Sualli in the centres and Manu in the halves. He keeps picking players like Crichton who is clearly not in the head space to be a first grade footballer. The time is up, time to start rebuilding for 2024. The worrying thing is that we are solid contenders for the spoon.

Roosters, Dolphins are on 16 Storm are on 18. Perhaps Robbo, Bennett and Bellamy can go on a cruise around the Caribbean together. They can freshen up and be back for the pointy end of the season.

The thing is, the Dolphins & Storm to a lesser extent have over achieved and we are a massive disappointment. The Storm lost a heap of experienced players from the pack and the fullback hasn’t played a game this year. The Rooster on the other hand had a roster many believe to be the best in the comp.

Dolphins have had one less bye than us.
Add the 6 points for each team from byes it looks worse for us.

Trent is/was a great coach, maybe the game has moved on from him.
Hasler was in the top two or three coaches 10-15 years ago but didn’t progress as the game changed, maybe Trent is the same.
Bennett and Bellarmy have been at the top for decades and evolved as the game has changed.

Uncle Nick loves Trent but surely his patience is starting to wane, miss the top eight with this squad he might be moved on.

Do you think Bennett could do a better job with our squad?
My expectations weren’t that high for this season. Our best 17 has too many holes in it.

More chance of the fickle "fans" on here moving on to support other teams than there is of Coach Robinson being moved on

As Rock Solid as Liquid Water

Anyway Atlanta Braves came back from 10-3 down to beat NY Mets 13-10 in 10 - Ozzie Albies 3 run homer with 2 out in the bottom of the 10th for the walk off

Robbo will be here next year.

However, we may see all the support staff sacked and change our game plan / style for next year or he will move up to a coaching director job in 2025. Job for life as Uncle Nic said.

Would Politis treat a head salesperson at one of his car outlets if they failed with last 4 years sales, don't think so...
