I like him too BBR but dont want to put too big a rap on him too soon. The club are well aware of his potential, but I dont want to set him up for the impatient lynch mobs on here to tear him down if/when he makes a blue.

They already have with Sandon - remember last years trial matches - the usual culprits - he's no good / why is he playing/ hopeless / will never will play NRL etc etc.

Just me, or does the mail based off “Panthers players are reportedly preparing for Smith to move in to the starting team”, seem unsubstantial? Wild that they’ve made 2 paragraphs worth of late mail as a by product of what the opposition thinks might happen.

I tend to agree with this but either way at least he’s on the bench so he will come in at some point. The earlier the better though.

As alluded to in BBRs other post about Pauga not being able to play until last week, I’d say Sandon had the same restrictions. I also believe that the club was biding their time until then. I also don’t think Sam Walker is injured. Strained ACL?.. please.. Combining all these factors, we will probably see more of Sandon this year. Go well son

The Broncos are a stakeholder in the QRL. The Pathways that the QRL create feed the Broncos junior system with the best juniors coming through.

By the sounds of it Walker's ACL was a grade 2 and not a Grade 1 due to the time period he is expected to be out for since his last game in round 9 NSW Cup - 6 weeks

Grade 2 - Sprain/Partial tear - ACL is stretched and becomes loose - 6 to 8 weeks recovery - may require surgery

No surgery required but needs to be fully healed as if not then likely to sustain a full ACL tear

Due back as per NRL Casualty ward in Round 16
