Turpin is used to playing 2nd fiddle to the son of the coach. Until this week he couldn’t get ahead of Robbo’s favourite son either, Drew Robinson.

Perhaps he's a better buy than Smith?

Good post, imo he’s the best hooker we have at the club I have no doubt he can play the 80, however what he does defensively will kill whatever he has in attack he’s very workmanlike aka Jake Friend.
I think you’re right about Brandon he just isn’t a hooker he’s an impact player and he should spell Turpin, we looked much better defensively and as you say some good service too boot don’t forget he has a short kicking game too from what I remember he stabbed a couple through for repeat sets.
