What do you think both Canberra and Easts signed him for - to get on the piss and ruin their club's reputation?? I think not.

And your great plan to run the Sharks as a drinkers paradise would come acropper for one reason alone - when Carney makes the headlines again for the wrong reason and discredits the game Gallop & Co will simply deregister him and the Sharks would have little or no say in it. And if they defy the NRL and play him whilst deregister they will lose their points.

Those in HQ at the NRL appear to be already fed up with Carney and his BS antics. It don't reckon it would take much for them to pull the pin on his NRL career.

There's lots of footy clubs like that....they are all in the bush though.

What a great CEO you would make for a club.....a bunch of players who's major interest is where their next drink is coming from, who couldn't care less about things like rehab, club image, personal image. Yes I can see the parents of young potential superstars knocking on your door begging you to turn little Johnny into a grog monster of the highest order. And the sponsors, well they would be knocking each other out to put their name next to the player who made the news for breaking the projectile vomit record after a bender at the Cross!
