Fair call that those teams were shit, but I ask you whether the team that played the first part of the season could have come back against the Sharks and Parra like we did at the end?

I think we both know the answer to that question. All of a sudden our guys looked like they were enjoying themselves and wanted to play for each other. That was sadly missing at the start of the season, actually, right up to those last 4 games it was missing.

Whilst I'm not taking much from the last four games, it was better finishing the year on that note than seeing carney in the side acting like a turnstyle, not trying and generally frustrating me. I don't pretend to know what went on behind the scenes but if actions are any guide there certainly appeared to be a different attitude in the team for those last four games - Linnett's bravery playing injured spoke volumes for both him and the guys he was playing alongside is just one example. (And to think they let him go. )

You are a goose. Proven by your comment that he was not DUI. How dumb can you be?

Oh yeah and think again before you label the rest of us for being drunk drivers like yourself.

Some people just dont get it.

    Wrong on 2 levels....

    1. He was well over his alcohol limit for a bloke on his Ps. Additionally he was only on his Ps because he lost his license for DUI.
    2. He was actually over .05 which is over the legal limit for all drivers in NSW.

This Carney apologist shite is now officially doing my head in.

We couldn't just sit by doing nothing and watch him continually drag the club through bad headline after another AND divide and destabilise the team. Canberra had to bite the bullet and get rid of him too and believe me it was even harder for them as he was a local product and they didn't want him to end up at another club. The only person to blame here is Carney and his lack of responibility.
    Absolutely 100% spot on!!!

There is a whole bunch of other crap that a lot of people are missing that include Myles. Just look at the last four games of this year, once the crap was kicked out the team performed so much better.

The alcohol ban, right or wrong, was merely the straw that broke the camel's back. Carney was a head case and he and Myles were bad influences. Regardless of carney's performance in 2010, in 2011 he was nothing short of absolutely useless.

He was targeted by the media and that didn't help but the problems were well and truly in place before that, intellectual giants that he toured with in the kangaroos saw to that.

It seems that chronic lying, lack of trust and shirking of all responsibility would be the hallmarks.

And please, no more comparisons to Freddie. That's just wrong on so many levels and shows that you Carney fans are really clutching at straws now.

Take out the ban, and there are no problems with his behaviour, except for being a bogan d1ckhead who can play magnificent football...
