Just heard today that Sharks are the favourites but don't be surprised if he is wearing a ###### jumper next year. Sorry I can't say which club, let me tell you guys we hate this club!!!!

Whether it was a result of his 'bogan dickheadiness' or his love of alcohol, Carney had to go. The players didn't want to play with him anymore. Neither they nor the coach could trust him to actually do anything he said he would. I once supervised a girl (Carney's age) at work. She was a good person. But she was constantly late, constantly not finishing tasks, constantly asking for time off, constantly not pulling her weight. Constantly coming up with excuses. Every time I counselled her she'd make a world of promises only to let me (and the rest of the work team) down again and again and again. I wanted to believe her but at the end of the day it caused a whole lot of stress and frustration for everyone. Carney is a fantastic footballer but it's a TEAM sport. There can't be one rule for him and another for the everyone else. Fittler was a champion, a bogan dickhead AND A TEAM PLAYER who cared about his teammates. Carney only cares about himself - at least that's the way he acted and continues to act. He is slfish and extremely immature.

PTB, sooner or later Carney will fark up, just like he has done at Canberra and the Roosters, for the simple reason that the grog seems to be more important to him than footy. And that won't change no matter what club he plays for or which colours he wears.

If the guy was serious about succeeding at his next club he would kept off the grog and out of the headlines while he went through the process of finding a new club. It didn't happen, which speaks volumes for his state of mind and focus for 2012.

How quickly some forget. He first lost the trust of his team mates much earlier on in the season when supposedly injured he decided against both visiting his mother or going to watch his team mates play at Gosford and instead did the the dirty on his 'minder' and went out on the piss with Watts.

Carney was punted by Easts basically because everyone from the Chairman down to the ballboy couldn't trust the bloke. And once people lose trust in you, you become a liability.
