Unfortunetly the salary cap isnt 6million dollars and we cant have stars in every position
As stsae said Soli and Maubs were our cetres when we came 4th and all of a sudden they're the worst centres in the comp
Maubs is a centre now hes played there since his second game of first grade, he may have played lock in jersey flegg, but he is a centre now and IMHO one of the safest centres going around
We're you complaining about Maubs when he set up 2 tries and scored one himself against the tigers??

Strange thing is on the few occasions (usually when weve been losing this season) we go wide we actually look pretty good. We seem to make ground when we actually use our backs, even scored a few long range tries.
Its the inside ball shit that kills me. Now some will blame Pearce and he does it waaaaay too much but Bwaiff does it as often. Fitzy is the option usually, its soooooo bloody obvious even after 50 beers I can read it.
There is no way in my mind that its not coached into our 1/2s. We do it repeatedly. And it gives the perception all our backs are just slugs, which simply isnt the case. Even Maubs can go when he gets in a bit of space.
Maybe its a case of keeping it simple early in the season and we will restructure and use our backs later in the season???? I bloody hope so at least. Either way its a negative and boring tactic that shits me weekly. It only makes out 1/2s look unimaginative and our backs look like statues.
Freddy said in this weeks press conference we didnt test the wankos enough, especially early. banning the inside ball for starters would help. IMO its a tactic to use on lazy tired defence later in games, catch the player that doesnt move in the line. To do it early in games is stupid IMO.
We could have the best centres in the world out there and all theyd catch at the moment is a bloody cold.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

FFS Muzz can we ban the 15 year olds please
Anyway that's beyond my point, my point is what do Maubs and Soliola who would be on relativity low contracts compared to the rest of our squad have to do with non re-signing Winterstein... should we have payed overs for a player who proved nothing in 2008 and didn't want to stay in Sydney?Last edited by Rooster_6; 04-13-2009, 06:17 PM.
