man what a shame, I'd love to see him stay at the tigers.
he is not worth a million, given the ups and downs I'd rather be at the tigers in 2026 then the eels.

His manager Moses would already be deep in discussions with a club or clubs who will pay him 1.1 mil per season.

Some making Savala out to be the next Freddy Fittler. I hope so but wait till we lose and he doesn’t go so well. Such a fickle bunch we are.

He isn’t the first and not the last.
Josh Schuster was meant to be a superstar in the making and was paid big money on that but ended up being sacked with very little NRL minutes.
At Souths now and doesn’t seem too be doing much there either.

Why don't we just sign...everyone. Then one day, we can finally rule the world!

If we offer Galvin $1M+ it will be long term and we will lose Hugo, Elliot, Rodwell and Smith.
A massive risk losing potential quality for a guy who has achieved nothing.
I will be shocked if we sign him.

It’s always interesting, because if you lock in a player like Galvin for a long contract at 1 million a season, that might end up being huge value. Look at the Knights with Ponca. They offered him big money when he was basically a rookie, and that ended up being a very smart decision.
But yeah, always risky to pay on potential, and I don’t think we really have any need of him. I’m optimistic that we don’t, anyway.

He's been offered $1m per season. There's some good prospects in the tigers side.
Agree with others like he's a decent player but $1m serious silly money.
I just hope we're not interested because we've got decent halves and prospects that we need to develop.
Put me in the def no column.

if it's about the coach we'd be in the running. from what i've seen he looks pretty good. don't know how good our young guys coming through are but galvin's probably going to have a better career than smith and savala. don't know what's best but if we got him for a good price i wouldn't complain.
surprised the tigers took their offer off the table both for not keeping that door open and for what it might do to their season.

Think his problem is with Head office and the coach rather than the money...if Buzz and commenters in the paper are to be believed.

With the salary cap it's hard to pay a million dollars a season in hopes of someone reaching their full potential to be honest.

Ok so
Jerome Luai has the magic dust. He's won 4 comps at Penrith and now they're farked without him.
Play Hutch alongside Luai and Moses would put a $1 million price tag on Drew.
Moses is the snowman, that sleazy used car salesman that sold you a lemon.
I'd be embarrassed if I were Galvin.

$1 mill a season for an oversized touch footy player?
I'm gobsmacked.
Tell him he's dreaming.
$600k max.

He wants as much Sam Walker despite delivering far less in his career to date and having a lower ceiling.
No thanks.
