Managed to get a nice swim in today, finished work on time but had to wait around at home for a call from a solicitor so didn't leave to go for the swim till around 4 pm, it was a flip up between going to the stadium pool for a swim or somewhere on the coast, remembered the big bash was on at the SCG so that ruled out driving over and parking in the members car park so was heading over the ocean pool at Malabar but thought would check out Little Bay before hand and if i could get a park would have a swim there, parking was no problem and the water was beautiful, i have never seen it so clear and clean, spent well over an hour swimming and paddling, so nice to be able to do it after work.

Big storm has just hit the Eastern Suburbs

We got the storm over Marrickville Metro at about 12.30 pm, i opened up the roller door in the back dock to watch the lightning flashes, you know its a a doozy of a storm when you can hear the thunder inside the centre, then had heavy rain. When leaving just before 3 pm had another lot of thunder and lightning but not as severe as the first lot.

Had a wonderful week here in Florida with temps in the late 20’s all week and no humidity.

Even up in DC it’s been unseasonably warm around the mid to late teens which for the middle of winter is absurd but welcomed.

Turned into a glorious afternoon here in Sydney I’m now at the beach enjoying the sun

Very muggy here, finished work at about 1.30 pm and thought about a swim but decided to splash a few different colours of paint on different walls trying to decide what colour schemes to come up with when we repaint. If the weather is good tomorrow will go for a swim after work.

Yesterday was a very early taste of spring. We are still only just over halfway through winter but had a glorious day of 20c. It wouid normally be around 7 or 8 this time of year.

Very muggy here, finished work at about 1.30 pm and thought about a swim but decided to splash a few different colours of paint on different walls trying to decide what colour schemes to come up with when we repaint. If the weather is good tomorrow will go for a swim after work.

We’ve started painting as well - internal doors and frames. They need an update as the paint on the doors has turned a shade of yellow. It’s been quite hot here today and it will apparently be a scorcher on the weekend.

Was originally just going to do the two bedrooms, bathroom and hall way as the kitchen and the lounge room wall wise still look ok but thought may as well do the lot as the ceilings and window frames do need a bit of attention. Haven't like the colours we tried on the walls so far so seriously thinking about just having the same colour again. Not looking forward to it when it finally happens but late March looks like the start date.

Beautiful day today, seeing i finished work early today found a nice spot out of the wind at La Perouse for a swim, water was beautiful.

It makes sense to paint everything at once then it all flows throughout the house. Of course that also means extra work unfortunately. I really don’t like trying to choose paint colours as I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these things and can be really indecisive. Trying to choose a white is ridiculous. Who would have thought there could be so many shades of white!
