i watched the beatles' hard day's night recently and enjoyed it. not really a doco but it gives insights into the genuine sense of fun and iconoclasm of the fab four. maybe it doesn't entirely work but, like a marx brothers movie, there's enough brilliant stuff to keep you going. some of the slap stick scenes with ringo are hilarious

A Hard Days Night is a pretty good movie. As a mad Beatles fan and having watched all of the band’s movies, it really is the only one worth watching. Help is a bit silly and the less said about Magical Mystery Tour the better. The music throughout all their movies though is of course brilliant.

Garth Brooks - The Road I’m On is now on my list. I'm listening to Trisha again after some of those lovely songs being posted so I looked up some documentaries and found Garth and Trisha. I also love Trisha's Southern Kitchen..but that's not a doco....it used to be on SBS on Demand..it's been going for 9 years..great guests, great music and lots of comfort food..what's not to love..

SBS On Demand has a whole lot of episodes of The Artist's View about the making of videos. I watched Olivia's again the other day. There are quite a few to stream for free and each one is less than 30 mins:
