I didn't realise they turned into a series! I found it now thanks and will watch it when I have a week's break from work soon. I can watch one every morning before I go for a walk as there are 6 episodes. Thanks so much for letting me know Recky.

I'm also working my way through Classic Albums on SBS on Demand. Still have a few to get through. I watched the Fleetwood Mac one twice of course..

I should start rating my documentaries on how many tissues I go through. This one would need to be counted by boxes.

Roy Orbison - Love Hurts documentary put together by his sons. The most amazing part that struck me was immediately after Roy had passed away, the record company knew that his family would get hounded by paparazzi so they started sending their limos around to block the streets to avoid a media circus. Other record companies got wind of what was going on and even though Roy had never worked with some of them, they all started ringing around one another to see what they could do to help. That right there says a lot about how highly thought of Roy was, even by people in the music industry he'd never had a recording deal with. I can't find any decent footage of the documentary worth posting but it was from 2017, so I'll post the lovely song, Love Hurts, instead. His sons arranged for the remastering and re-recording with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra:

George Michael Freedom. Looking forward to watching the uncut version as they originally had it at 60 mins instead of 90 for TV viewing. Channel 9 had screened it at the time and now it was re-released on 22 June in the longer format. The greatest thing about this is that George did this documentary himself, so no tacky tabloid gossipy stuff. There are some dreadful ones out there about Kurt Cobain and I've never watched them.

Thanks for the recommendation zac. I've been listening to those long jazz mixes on youtube whilst I work and it's very soothing and calming. The history lesson that goes along with these types of documentaries is an added bonus for me as well as you can learn a lot about different eras. I'd forgotten about this Nat King Cole one I watched on SBS On Demand (they are excellent for free to stream documentaries)
