Vincentia booked for a couple of days late November, the better half's old school mates have booked this, a nice big place a block away from the water and nice BBQ and back yard area, have stayed at this property before and its great as you don't to bring anything extra apart from food and drink, i was planning for a nice November break up the Mid North Coast but the group organised this down south so might to try add a few days before or after the group catch up but really would prefer the South Coast in Feb/ March when a lot better for beach/ swimming.

Just booked dinner at the Union Bank in Orange as when we booked the trip to Orange i had forgotten it was the Fathers Day weekend so made sure we had a booking at this stunning restaurant as didn't want to miss out seeing we are only there 2 nights. Haven't booked anything else yet, may try and extend an extra day in Orange but will most likely just do Wellington Caves and have a couple of nights in Mudgee on the way back but still up in the air at the moment apart from the two night stay in Orange.

Uneventful drive to Orange but geez the road is basically a goat track in parts, lots of road kill everywhere, kangaroos, wombats, foxes and rabbits .
Accomodation very nice and a lovely tasting platter on arrival, looking forward to dinner tonight at the Union Bank and checking out a few wineries tomorrow. Already called into one on the way at Milthorpe and my credit card is already groaning. Beautiful jonquils and daffodils in bloom at the moment.
