A nurse at Sydney’s Westmead Hospital has tested positive for Covid-19, despite being fully vaccinated and wearing full protective equipment.
Questions now must be asked is it the vaccinations causing the positive tests

You can assume as a nurse she would have been fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. At very best the efficacy rate is 90%. That does mean that in the clinical trials 1 in 10 fully vaccinated people were still getting Covid when exposed. Vaccines aren't 100% foolproof and have never been reported as such.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View Post

The overwhelming majority of those being treated or dying are unvaccinated or only had 1 dose. There are also a very small number of people who are fully vaccinated who have been affected too and are included in the statistics.....again the fact is vaccinations are not 100% foolproof.....and none of the manufacturers ( Pfizer, Astra Z or any of them) have said there's a 100% efficacy rate. However by cherry picking the small number of fully vaccinated people who are hospitalised or dying isn't looking at the full picture.
Andy when people say "thankyou for taking part in the worlds biggest clinical trial" its actually very demeaning-. It works on both sides too with the demeaning comments coming out of the USA against those who are anti vaccination " its a great way of weeding out societies dumb " in reference to those who have dying in big numbers now that aren't vaccinated
People have a choice and have a right to express their opinions on why they have gone a certain way but keep it civilComment

that nurse getting covid isn't remarkable. the vaccine lowers the risk of getting it but you can still get it. the vaccine is useful cos it means that you're much much less likely to be hospitalised or die.
she didn't have any symptoms and they only found out she was positive during standard testing.
