I'm waiting for the results from the human trials to come in. Usually takes a few years.

We are all part of the experiment. As soon as the majority of the country has had the chance to be vaccinated then the international borders will open and in will come Covid full blast- it isnt going away overnight. Theres going to be statistics on the survival rates of those who are vaccinated compared to those who are not. Which way you roll the dice is up to you....but none of us can sit back & hide to see what unfolds....unless you plan to live under a rock!!

Nobody believes medical professionals told the Australian Government in July 2020 not to order the Pfizer vaccine. Based on what reason? At the time all the early trials showed Pfizer as being the more effective vaccine. However just like the AstraZ the Pfizer wasnt yet approved for usage-both still had hurdles to jump before being approved. It was very possible that one of the two may have had issues- as it turns out the Astra Z did have issues. It makes perfectly good sense to do what the majority of the world did-order both....& forget about the fact that Pfizer is 5 times more expensive as Astra Z.

So in the end someone needs to be accountable for what was a very poor decision- that is going to cost billions. I was supportive of Scomo with his leadership when Covid broke out-he was decisive, clear & gave direction- but he needs to own this one. He has no problems showing his head when the news is good- especially when it came to praising Gladys- but NSW shouldn't be in this position now

Yes as I said he/ they backed the wrong horse .Not sure why you say no one believes the medical professionals told them to or not as I thought that's why they are there but Vas before could be wrong .For me we need to stop the blame game and get on with it . Can't finishes the job by looking backward . What is the answer .another royal commission.They never achieved anything.Albo just said the problem is lack of vaccine . aus has dropped the ball when it comes to securing vaccines. i don't know if that was his fault but his public comments have been awful. 'aus is at the front of the queue', 'it's not a race'. mate, just tell us the ****en truth

we had one and it seemed to work but they dumped it cos it gave a false positive if someone had a test for aids, even for men who'd never been close to another man's anus

Thanks .Think that sort of confirms what Im saying. But agree they should have had more pfizer. But i guess if AstraZeneca worked out then they would be heroes .Backed the wrong horse and now we are suffering.
the government was led by the hand by AstraZeneca and CSL in its roll-out strategy.
