Spag bol tonight, just about the usual Monday night dinner.
Last night dined in with friends at Best Gourmet Newtown, ordered steamed pork dumplungs which were sublime, spring rolls which were ok, mains ordered sizzling duck which one of the friend said it was the best duck they had ever had, got to admit it was bloody good, also ordered fiery prawns, they were excellent with a bit of a bite but not to hot and also sweet and sour pork which was passable. A very enjoyable feed overall.

Our monthly spaghetti and meatballs night.
Occasionally we treat ourselves and have it bimonthly
Eventually my goal is to have it weekly.
I wouldn't complain it were every other day.
Happy to have spaghetti and meatballs all over my casket one day.

Mrs Salvo's area of Ukraine has a lot of history as far as food goes in who controlled that area - Austria-Hungary , Poland , Romania , Russia , USSR and Ukraine- so you can have a wide variety of foods or different versions of the same dish - Today I cooked a bunch of Polish version staples.
Goulash Soup
Bigos Stew
Dessert - Karpatka
