Yes SBS is good. There’s some good stuff on there.

It was always mastered, but I only make it once a month remember.

I know who you mean but I can’t think of the name of the show now. I haven’t watched it though. On David Lynch, I agree Twin Peaks is weird as is most of his stuff. I guess I kind of like trying to work out crazy mysteries within mysteries and what the writer is trying to say about humanity. He likes to look at themes of good verses evil and does it in a very clever, eccentric sort of way. Twin Peaks was a bit of a dark satire and commentary on the stereotypical all American good guy trying to fight off evil. It ends up asking more questions than it answers which is the point but that annoys a lot of viewers too.

austin. as good as that bloke is, it's the two english actors that make it. sally phillips in particular is good.
you're not the only one who rates twin peaks. based on what was said when he died, seems like a lot of people like david lynch. i liked elephant man and maybe blue velvet but didn't like mulholland drive.

i'm not really a streamer - maybe i miss out on the latest stuff but i figure that if it's good it will stand the test of time and i'll pick it up later. my top tv series of all time are mad men, sopranos. the wire, better call saul, masters of sex, in treatment, curb your enthusiasm etc.

but if i can borrow googling from king salvo, i note that wiki says - 'Karen is a pejorative slang term typically used to refer to a middle class woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding'.
were you worried that some people might think you were having a go at our female posters?
Here are some great free to air streaming sites available in Australia.

www.brollie.com.au which is Umbrella Films. I know you like history like me and there is so much old Australian stuff. There is a Bryan Brown movie also called On the Beach filmed around Bondi and one of the crooks lived in my current street...

Here is some info about Tubi also, which is completely free. I use Edge as my browser and have adblocking software installed but to be honest, there are few ads anyway

                  https://tubitv.com

I remember you and I chatting about out DVD collections during lockdown. . I gave most of mine to Vinnies when I moved including my Seinfeld box set as life's too short to cling onto stuff.

thanks for those. i'm aware of them and have watched things on brollie but haven't checked what they've got lately.
once i decided i was okay with ditching the dvd cases storing them wasn't a big problem and i don't mind revisiting old favourites
