What TV shows are you currently watching and would you recommend them?

I've just finished watching BRASSIC on Netflix and it was very good. 8/10

I've just started watching Fool Me Once on Netflix and so far so good.

RFDS on Prime . Good Aussie drama and the blonde female nurse is very gorgeous. Getting eaten alive by bugs in my garage man cave. Crazy hot spring weather !!

I like crime shows where there is a civilian assisting the police department so Elsbeth, High Potential and Elementary are my top picks for that genre. Noted in Elsbeth they used similar software to what we use at work to detect fake documents so I found that interesting. I also like Matlock with Kathy Bates and for a laugh, Nobody Wants This with Kristen Bell is about to commence season 2.

By far the best of all is Colin From Accounts..good Australian show with Patrick Brammal and Harriet Dyer. Harriet is also in an American show called DMV which started last week on Binge. I'm saving that for the holidays.

but it was a serious question. btw, what's a 'karen'? i notice you started a thread about it, about how karen couldn't live without the off topic thread. are you a karen? just looking at who posts and starts threads here and it seems like you're on the top of the leaderboard.

personally i'm a dvd bloke. picked up a lot of them cheaply on ebay but on free to air i like australian story on the abc on mondays.

i'm not really a streamer - maybe i miss out on the latest stuff but i figure that if it's good it will stand the test of time and i'll pick it up later. my top tv series of all time are mad men, sopranos. the wire, better call saul, masters of sex, in treatment, curb your enthusiasm etc.

but if i can borrow googling from king salvo, i note that wiki says - 'Karen is a pejorative slang term typically used to refer to a middle class woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding'.

Bates doesn’t need any help in knowing how to derail threads. I feel sorry for all the poor middle aged Karens out there as it was a very popular name in the 60’s / 70’s.

I like to stream as there’s nothing much to watch on FTA these days except reality dating rubbish. But I swap between streaming services so only pay for one at a time. I love Mad Men too and Sopranos but also Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Twin Peaks are amongst my all time faves. We currently have Stan.

no sally, I love, respect and couldn't live without them. my best memories are with my wife and daughters at the footy especially the grand finals.

I also call my male mates karen when they're being obnoxious. zero to do with gender!

tbh, i was never a big fan of david lynch. twin peaks has a catchy theme song but it didn't do it for me, but all good. breaking bad's good. sbs on demand, which is kind of free streaming, has some good shows. i watched a great biopic series on mussolini.

I love to just put my earphones in and listen to my iTunes library or Spotify. I often do this when the footy (not roosters) or cricket is on so I don’t have to hear the annoying commentary.
