That's actually someone from the old Wall and I won't out them on here as it's not my place. I did say to them years ago, why did you pick Bernie as everyone will think it's me..LOL..

Got my permanent staff retirement card during the week, finally got to use it for the first time today and it worked . Funny though my old staff card was supposed to be cancelled once i finished work till i got my permanent card, it did stop working at Coles supermarkets but it still worked at Liquorland. Today i did the test, the new card worked at the supermarket but used the old card at Liquorland and it still worked.

Thanks MR, still have a gift card card to go for service over 25 years, the area manager dragging the chain there, pretended she didnt know that i was eligible for it, i said just have look at the conditions in retiring from Coles then she said oh your my first retiree ever so i didnt know, suppose to be a morning tea to go with the presentation of the gift card. I couldnt give a stuff about the morning tea. Not sure how some of these people higher up their positions

Although i have to give one department credit, they rung me during the week to see whether my permanent card had arrived yet or if it hasnt it was mailed. At least one department knew what to do with retiring staff members.

I’d rather a forum member who keeps a dignified silence. Quite a few decent people I know in person from the old Wall have accounts on here just for reading purposes only these days.There is no requirement nor obligation for anyone to post anything when they log in as far as I know. Far better than scurrying around on here like sad sack sewer rats. It’s time for my morning meditation so I will send good vibes to those with troubled souls and hope they find a positive life purpose. Have a beautiful week everyone. I've had 3 cups of tea already.

So sad seeing my better halfs sister in law in age care yesterday, still physically active but mind is going, such a lovely lady, her eyes lit up when we entered the room, it is just so sad when she could have really lucid moments and remember things clealy we did 20 years ago then suddenly slip into another world. Saw both my parents go that way, Just brings everything into perspective of how short quality of life can be and to make every moment count and try to keep physically and mentally active for as long as possible.

Oh RWB !!! I see the spinster lifestyle is treating you well. The above and many of your other posts are not the dignified silence you speak of. It appears you are the one scurrying around on here like a sad sack sewer rat digging for old posts to respond to.

We are all well aware that in your spare time away from this place you are still lurking here and pestering the mods and site owner. You’ve even had a sticky in your honour.

You come across as the one who is not only troubled but bitter as well. May your meditation bring you some much needed peace to your troubled mind and soul.

If you have a problem with a specific member or members please address them head on rather than casting aspersions on the entire membership group.

I log in from time to time, but I don't post often, maybe because I go for Souths. But I like the footy talk on this forum so much now I go into and read the off-topic section.

Sometimes I log in because I want to like a post. One time I did this for that exact reason you mention and only yesterday a poster got very upset some months later that myself and a few others liked the initial post.
