Yours could be a somewhat common view given Advance Australia's and Sky's anti Albo/ALP agitation. When your Party is reduced to a rump, any criticism at all is grist for the mill. Certainly Zionists would be critical and, of course, those who buy the label 'Terrorist" when it is applied to Hamas or to anyone else for that matter. There are still many of us who have minimal interest in anything but for whom the msm is gospel.
Why a lot workers see their best interests served by Tories is beyond me. Maybe, Crab, you're a self styled "small businessman" of the kind that collects refundable cans and bottles or scavengers for scrap metal and thinks that his interests align somewhat with the big end of town.

Timely post Andy and who woulda thought that all of those nations have apparently discounted Hamas as an obstacle. Who knew anyway? Not us in Oz, our MSM hasn't thought context is important enough. Better just to cut to the chase - Albo is in league with World terror!Last edited by Paddo Colt 61; 08-15-2025, 05:09 PM.

Mileikowsky, a war criminal facing his own domestic charges, has long hidden behind smears, calling critics 'Nazis' while pushing to annex Gaza and the West Bank into a theocratic Israel where only Jews are welcome.
Right-wingers side with him mostly because they’re still stuck in a post-9/11 'us vs them' mindset about Arabs/Muslims. That’s a pathetic reason to back a corrupt leader actively committing genocide.
Opposing genocide isn’t complicated and that’s exactly why global opinion is shifting.

Yeah, the idea that supporting the Palestinian Authority or criticising Mileikowsky equals 'backing terrorism' is just right-wingers clutching at straws.

i didn't like the protest in bondi yesterday. i don't have a problem with people marching to support palestine - they've got a bit to protest against - but coming to bondi was unnecessarily confrontationist. it's not as if australian jews are to blame for what's going on in gaza

Our young police officers shouldn't have to deal with sort of thing. I'd advise protesters from both sides to read Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Six Principles of Nonviolence. Once things get violent then your protest has failed and you lose- every single time.

Im with you on that. It was asking for a violent incident. The Palestinian protesters should have took their protest elsewhere for starters. The Israeli supporters should have ignored them because i'm sure a element of those Palestinian protesters were trying to bait them into violence-or at very least try to draw attention to the protest being on Bondi Beach.
