Evans stood out again. That guy is way too good for NYC now. Give him a few games in first grade to keep him hungry and then send him off to Newtown for the rest of the year.
Moga was a bit off the pace but had some good touches. Needs 4-6 weeks in the 20's before playing first grade in my opinion. Same deal with Evans above. Give him his debut plus one or two more games to keep him hungry and then send him off to the Jets for the rest of the year. Steady, steady with these two.
RTS is a long way from first grade standard. In fact he's a long way from Jets standard.

Kane was iced and bandaged up after the game against the Warriors. Suffered a tear in his bicep(?). I hope it doesn't keep him out too long because the inaugural NYC State of Origin game is being played soon (same weekend as Test match). I'd like to see how/if he dominates at that level. TryTry Moga should be selected for Qld.Originally posted by supermario View PostI have been nothing but impressed with Kane !!! he has REALLY been leading the front in just about every game this season !! i woul dnot be suprised if he is called up at some point this year !!!!

Isnt Kane Evans a Kiwi ? Spanner in the Works, I agree with you about Evans and Moga. Evans is just a cut above in the under 20's. Just not sure if he is phisically ready for first grade. He is 6'5 but in my opinion needs to bulk up bit perhaps.
I disagree with you in regards to RTS. This guy is the real deal and it would'nt surprise me to see him in first grade next year, perhaps on the wing where he has plenty of experience.
Dylan Napa is another I have been impressed with. But other then those four players, I really doubt we will see any of the others making first grade. Some ordinary ones the team.

Was he NO2 Whoever he was looked promising Quick out of dummy half and strightened up well when going sideaays Looked likely to break the line when he did thisOriginally posted by Jacks Fur Coat View PostYeah Kane Evans was the man...very dominant in that company...got players player award.
Apart from RTS and Tautau, the other guy making a good impact is the fijian winger Rokaloti? or something like that. Looks promising.I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

I think you are right about Evans physically. I'd give him one or two games and then that's it. He needs a season or two at the Jets first with the occasional first grade game. Slowly, slowly with this guy. Having said all that, he's a monster now. He must be around 200cm and 110-120kg. And he's not lumbering by any means. That run on Saturday surprised me.Originally posted by Planetboy View PostSpanner in the Works, I agree with you about Evans and Moga. Evans is just a cut above in the under 20's. I could come at RTS on the wing but not at fullback. Not in such a critical position in first grade. In my mind, give him the year in the 20's, then next year at the Jets and see how we go.
I like Napa. Big engine and he's got an aggressive streak in him.

Kane's has Fijian bloodline from his mums side. Several years ago he played for the Junior Bati team, so to did Paul Rokolati (the kid wearing #2 on Sat night). Kane does have a hint of Kiwi twang when he speaks.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View PostIsnt Kane Evans a Kiwi ? Hearing him talk on the official website last year I got the impression he was
Kane came off the bench last year for the Junior Kangaroos.
