  • Post game Press Conference

I can't bear to watch his face or listen to him anymore after tonight's game but anyone who has more courage than me and listened to whatever latest dribble he (Robbo) said after the game, can they summarise what he said?

      - Effort areas are low, such as kick chase, kick pressure and moving for one another
      - Not connected in defence, knew what was coming but just didn’t deal with it.
      - He hasn’t prepared the team well for the recent games and that’s on him, he needs to fix it quick smart
      - Not a pec tear for JWH
      - Walker to be back from injury after the bye week

For NSW Cup or for the NRL team?

Didn’t say, but has said Walker would be considered week to week depending on availability so I’d say he’s a good shot.

Although sounds like Manu might also only be out for 2-3 weeks.

            Robbo looks cooked.

            Challenging times ahead.

I'm a lurker of the chookpen. I understand how passionate some of you are, but ease up. You act like someone's been murdered. Support your team, especially when they're down.

Walker ‘may’ be back after bye week.

No surprises from the presser. Don't think he knows what the answers are

Love how Teddy said they're doing everything right....just Not putting it together or implementing it. Haven't done a single thing right all season, so maybe he means something else outside of Footy.

                            WTF, what's he been doing?

Does Robbo even come to training these days?

They certainly go overboard the folk on here - it's a game of football when it's all said and done

Penrith are a very good football team

When they have their grind football faces on they are exceptionally hard to beat.

You could see it was going to be a tough game to win from the start with the Roosters struggling to make yardage and any consistent field position in Offense and Penrith slowly but surely wining both the yardage and field position battle and putting the Roosters D under constant pressure.

When playing against such sides you really need to complete your sets and get to your kick and work hard in D.

Teams obviously under pressure against this type of footy go away from this and try the old miracle pass or a play that is not on - lose possession and Penrith make them pay for it with points scored.

Penrith then go through the same process time and time and time again over basically the 80 minutes.

You see many teams play a similar style of grind football but the difference is they can't or are unable to do this for a full game like Penrith can - not only a game here and there but basically week to week.

Injuries again for the Roosters - JWH peck strain - Manu Ankle Ligaments and Brandon Smith Groin

A weeks a long time in footy
