  • Suncorp Playing Surface

Not sure that the Suncorp playing surface will cope with 8 games - Queensland Reds play there tomorrow.

The ground crew will be busy getting it ready for Friday and after the final game has been played on Friday and Saturday to cope with 8 games being played at the one venue

The Roosters play the second last game on Sunday.

Friday - 2 games- Bulldogs vs Raiders / Sea Eagles vs Broncos
Saturday - 3 games- Warriors vs Panthers / Sharks vs Dolphins / Storm vs Rabbitohs
Sunday - 3 games - Wests Tigers vs Dragons / Roosters vs Cowboys / Titans vs Eels

    Knights the bye

Has been shocking all year, magic round should have been at Allianz this year.. they missed a real opportunity.

The turf is from a farm in Wamuran, it’s developed so it can be dropped in and played on immediately. It has mesh all through the lower levels to keep it together. Would not be surprised that a whole new deck will be dropped in this coming week. It’s pretty unstable in my opinion.

So we play the Cows on magic round and its our home game? I can't recall a single season where we have been the "away" team on magic round

It looks terrible and we have an east coast low looming.

That would have been a great event.

I reckon the farian’s grass is chopped up more than Suncorp.
