  • Ben Thomas

He’s not going to be a superstar, but he puts in like an old school prop. Straight & hard with a bit of mongrel on both sides of the ball. Not a bad bench option while we’re waiting for some of the others to get back.

Aside from that error, I thought he played pretty well and tried his guts out for the 22 minutes he played
    EASTS TO WIN!

I was probably too harsh on him calling him fat. Good stats for his minutes, and played his role.

mate you’re about to be torn apart by those disappointed with the win today …. Agree he is nothing special but puts in everything whenever he needed

I dont mind BT as a stopgap option. Very good player at dub cup level, a Bears mainstay. Won't let you down.

BT (Ben Thomas) isn't built like a BT-50 nor have we seen him play 50 mins worth of footy but he did well today in his short stint !

It's a tragedy Ben Thomas isn't a more suitable build for a prop, would probably be in the team every week if he was, bloke leaves it all out there every time he plays

No complaints with his effort. I always equate it with wrestling. There was a wrestler named Mike Jackson who made his career as a 'jobber'. He got title matches but never won but he always got paid and worked for years...and after checking he still is working at 73. I'd rather have that sort of bloke than someone who can 'lose their smile' no matter how flashy they are.

Thought he played well and is a solid unit. Reminded me of Lodge a little bit... around the 6ft mark and solid as. Dunno why some randoms were laying into him earlier on. He did his job IMO...

I liked what he has to offer. When he brings his best game, he can do a job for us that’s for sure. Effort wise you need blokes like this.

I think some fans just hate on him because he isn’t a superstar.
