a) 2nd highest number of ERRORS (84)... Melbourne have made the least (55)

b) Highest number of OFFLOADS (86)... Eels have made the least (39)

c) 2nd lowest number of KICKS (95)... Broncos have made the most (127)

d) 2nd highest number of TACKLES (1944)... Raiders have made the least (1744)

e) 3rd highest number of TACKLE BREAKS (223)... Tigers have made the least (130)

I'm guessing statistics (a), (c) and (d) are both the product of (b). We are trying to keep the ball alive and dropping it before we get to the kick, then have to tackle like mad.

(e) is interesting, but we haven't been able to translate this into tries. Again, because of (a) I surmise...

Not having a structure in attack contributes to a lot of this.

yeah your right, I went back to check ...think I was getting confused with our for/against .... which at -24 is only better than the 3 last teams. Kind of unusual given that we are 5th on the ladder

Correct - we are 8th in points conceded.

Actually, with the exception of the Melbourne second half, our points against have been pretty good:

12, 8, 44, 8, 18, 20.

I think if you can restrict your opposition to less than 18 points per game, you're doing pretty well. Provided you can score more, of course...

FPN was out of control with his "offloads" against the titans. just dropping it out the back without looking, hoping for a 1974 Russell Fairfax to shoot through and scoop up the ball to run the length of the field. I was cringing every time he got tackled that he was going to attempt a low percentage offload, half the time he did, possession was turned over and pressure on tits released.
