Yes, we finally got on top of St George and started to look ok. Its a long long way from beating Penrith or Melbourne yet. Maybe Robbo told the boys at half time to start playing their own game and don't follow the script as much, definitely looked better with less errors!

Lodge absolutely superb off the bench (other than the pass). Guy put in a damn shift and ran the ball harder than our forwards have all season. I was always happy with the signing, but now I’m even more happy to see those who trashed him enjoy some humble pie

But how can we say we're objectively a "long, long" way from beating Penrith or Melbourne? We were the better team against both of them recently.
Should've beaten Penrith in Penrith with their full squad, even without JWH and Keary.

I think the simple truth is we just need to make the 8 with a somewhat healthy squad, and like I've been saying, if that happens no team will be happy to play us.

Coaching 3 premierships was all a fluke. Even Trent Barrett could have coached that team.

As entertaining as I'm sure that would be, there's obviously no shot we make the top 4. I just feel as though if Keary and Jared are back, our spine is intact etc, we'll carve whatever 5-8 placed team we play week one of the finals, and then who knows? There have been genuinely very good signs in the last couple of weeks, especially against the Storm and the Panthers, that I think a lot of us have overlooked due to the end result of those games.

Loving it from everyone..winners can be grinners..I still can't believe my stream started buffering at 12-nil and by the time I re-booted my laptop it was 12-10...
