  • Forwards offloading

The game was a knockonathon and the forwards were largely the guilty party. However...there was one highlight for me..the forwards got some nice offloads going in the second half which gave us some second phase play and big yards up the field (gave skd some space for his erratic runs). In particular, MK got two nice offloads in heavy traffic. I can't remember if this a regular part of his game but if so I like it. Also, Fpn and JWh had a nice offload each too.

This team NEEDS second phase play because it adds a degree of unpredictability to an otherwise porridge like game plan. MK was particularly good today.

Even those offloads, as much as we want them, still look clumsy. MK got them out but lucky not to have them intercepted or dropped.

No doubt we'll see alot more of those when SBW gets here

and when all the anti Sonny fans will stop their venom..

You cant win a game with continous simple one out runs and

rely on a hopeless kick on the 5th..

JWH and Kennedy have been good the last two weeks and I believe they are going to become consistent forwards for us this year. Kennedy still rusty but he's led the pack well for last two weeks. But it was so obvious how poorly we went when they were off the field today, meaning we need a hell of a lot more from Tasi, Arona and Mose. Mose is the first person I would be sending to Newtown, all I have seen from him in three games is talk.

How good was it to see Aubs back in 'his' position today!!!

Like the team, but we all know Anasta will be in the 6. So Morts to bench and for Symonds. I would also have Mose in there for FPN!
