Pathways. Our junior prospects are killing it in all formats and really showing the way in terms of our development. Well done roosters in focusing on this. 1st in SG 1st in Jersey Flegg 2nd and undefeated in NSW cup so far and 2nd in Harold Matts. Have we ever had such high prospects? ( Wong, Swann, Vaa Bro’s, Teapai, JS, Toaia, Fittler, Moriaty, Tuku ) ??

Yes they did well during the regular season in Harold Matthews ( Sydney Roosters and not so well the Central Coast Roosters ) , SG Ball and Tarsha Gale Cup and now with the finals starting they need to capitalise on that and not waste the opportunity.

The Harold Matthews Cup / SG Ball and Tarsha Gale cup sides all have the 1st week of the finals off.- All 1st week Elimination final games are played on April 15

NSWRL finals series is as follows- not a fan of this final series set up - 1 Should play 2 in Week 2 with the winner to the GF the loser to the preliminary final in Week 3.

Should be a 4 week final series instead of 3 weeks

        Week 1- Elimination Final

        A) 3 vs 6
        B) 4 vs 5

        Week 2- Semi Final

        C) 1 vs winner of Match B
        D) 2 vs winner of Match A

        Week 3- Grand Final

        E) Winner of Match C vs Winner of Match D

          Great work young Roosters!

Unfortunately for the HM squad, it is highly unlikely #10 De La Salle Va’a will be available for the finals.

On Saturday vs the Dragons, in a nasty head clash, he required surgery for a compound fracture to his nose & multiple stitches for a deep gash across his nose & forehead.

No-one is more gutted than the young fella. He has enjoyed his first season in Sydney & the great support from the many good people in the Roosters system.

          Oh well, life goes on…

            That's not good to hear

Sadly I would say he wont be playing in that case minimum 4 to 6 weeks or longer recovery time and of course being a youngster they wont be rushing him back.

He has had a really good year so will be a loss for the finals campaign.

Speedy recovery for the young fellow

                    Bring in Volkman for Keary.

great stuff. because of the vagaries of history we're up against it when it comes to juniors so it's essential that we get recruitment right and seems like we're continuing to get it right.
obstacles mean you've got to be smart and the club is smart.

He's throwing balls over the sideline, not reading the plays and seems to be more concerned with not getting concussed again. I've seen Volkman play, he looks the goods. Keary may well be passed it.

Blake Steep from HM Cup, good enough to have a few games in Jersey Flegg this year.
