That's actually a great idea. If he dropped 5kg he may well be that bit zippier, which would alleviate his biggest weakness, pace. he is a strong player in all other areas.

That is true. Although one can have professional training which will enhance speed.

No doubt it can work and you are correct.....but Hutch is ridiculously slow,

Was Cronk all that quick? What the team lacks is generalship which is leadership + tactical smarts + skills, pace is not a prerequisite. Apart from Ted who led by example in the last half of the season there is no inspiration closer in and I see Hutch in that role. He's not, unfortunately, Cronk but then who is even today?
