  • Ennis Backs Robbo

Ennis said there had been multiple incidents this season which made him think the bunker was not up to the task.

“There have been so many inconsistencies – is it a report, a sin bin or a send off? We had Drew Hutchison with the knees in the back, the one with James Tedesco on Anzac Day,” he added.

“Take the Roosters out of it, the bunker have got ample time to act on it. You can accept it if (referee) Ashley Klein, in the run of the game, makes an error – I can cop that.

“But when we’ve got so many angles and so much time that they take to assess these situations and the fact that the game has publicly come out and said they will take player welfare seriously, then you’ve got to err on the side of caution.

“Last night was brute force to the head and he had to be sent off. It’s as clear as that.

He was the complete opposite to the way Gould n Co. dumped on Robbo last night.

Ennis while an annoying pest on the field is pretty intelligent often and can come up with sensible stuff.
It was interesting listening to Cooper Cronk last night, I got the feeling he wanted to unload but bit his tongue

I hope Gould got a phone call from the God Father. He was disgraceful.
