Given our diminished supply of players going into the finals, what are the rules governing this new fangled thing? I noticed that the Bulldogs had a Raider playing for them on the weekend. If we're short of outside backs in Week 1 of the finals, can we borrow, say, Reece Walsh?

Seriously, under the lockdown it's not inconceivable that with injuries and suspensions a team could enter the finals and not have enough fit troops to field a team. Obviously, the Walsh scenario is absurd... but do they even have rules to govern this yet?

Loan is for a pre-determined period with the player returning to their parent club before finals or if the Parent club recalls the player as a result of injuries they sustain.

I gather then that Copley is not a loan player.

Correct, Copley signed a contract for the rest of the season and was fully released by the Broncos.

His future is uncertain for next year.

28 at least with only 24 available for next game vs Dragons - only other players they could have up there to make up the 30 is J Marschke and Lani Graham-Taufa

It was confirmed on twitter by Dave Riccio and I think Warren Smith confirmed also when commenting on a Canterbury game. No announcement from the Roosters though. He cant get a run for Canterbury so why not get hom over now and give him a trail game.
