i won't single him out as the whole team is a bit here and there. Yea he's slowing up but it must be mentioned he put on a his trademark moves and offload for ikavalu's last try? He's still got it, just not from 5 years ago.

I would like to see another year out of him, but have to leave it to the right judges in robbo and Uncle to make the call.

    Love me some Jmoz.

I would not sign JMoz for 2022. Next year would be Manu & Smith if one of them get injured then Suaalii.

disgraceful comment. Like he doesn't care. Clueless thing to say.

I think going into a bubble again away from his family (for a little while anyway) was his last straw

Morris hasn’t been his best all year. The game looks to have past him. We are just noticing now because we’ve lost like 8 important players this year and this just makes the spotlight bigger on experienced players such as Morris. The truth is he just hasn’t been as involved as last year, and it probably will be his last, at least for us

Hopefully he can regain some form and break back into the side for a proper farewell, but Robinson is right to drop him

I'll use a simile to make my point. I watched the former baseballing deity Albert Pujols sub on for the Dodgers today. He should have retired last year when he made the Hall of Fame ballot.

LA Angels will be paying him the $30 mill from the last year (2021) of the 10 year deal he signed in 2012 after they released him in May 21 due to poor form - Dodgers signed him to a 1 year base salary contract of $570k

Next year at age 42 he becomes a UFA (Unrestricted Free Agent ) and can sign with anyone with his previous team receiving no compensation.

Not sure many would be lining up to sign him though

14 out of 19 season with the St Louis Cardinals he had a batting average of 300 plus- Didn't reach those heights with the Angels and when released in May 21 had a .198 batting average - Picked up somewhat with the LA Dodgers with a .274 batting average from 43 games so far

What would you call his effort in this play? Watch it again Mate. I call it as I see it.

Judging by Robbo's team selection this week it appears he agrees with me.

Precisely. Defence is about attitude. JMoz showed he didn't care in this instance.

I'd call it injured, out of form, or a combination of both. He has chronic long term injuries that need to be managed. He spoke earlier this season about missing games at times through the season to do that. But in your mind because he's not playing this week proves Robbo agrees with you that JMoz no longer cares. So it's official then. lol

i think jmoz's problem with his missed tackle on the hammer was that he underestimated his speed. rather than staying in the line he tried to get up in his face and that didn't work too well. it was more over zealousness than lack of trying.
but he's had a few errors in his game of late and he can't argue that he demands selection right now. i'd still have him in my top 13 but nothing wrong with giving the other blokes a chance this weekend

He may have had a lapse but many of our players do that.

Take a look at this effort with a couple minutes to go.

                                https://www.roosters.com.au/news/202...rt---round-18/

Then have a look at the second video here (you have to click the arrow for the second try) where the Hammer scores. Watch Sitili's attempt on Drinkwater. This is one minute after he gave that 6 again on the last tackle for pulling the guy's leg.

Sitili should start off the bench. He is not good enough in defence in that first 20 minutes.
