Stating the obvious here. Add Kez and Rads to yesterday's team and we finish in the top 3. Add the other 10 injuried players and we win the comp.

I still can't believe how bad our luck with injuries has been.l Thought last year was bad but it somehow just keeps getting worse.

I don't know if Parra are as bad as people are saying as after all the Chooks put in a sterling effort - only execution let them down - ball control wasn't great - 22/33 set completions (67%) and too many errors - 17 some which resulted in tries - tackles in opposition 20 63-8 showed how the flow of possession went.

Chooks inability to control possession meant they couldn't control the field position i.e where they have the ball and where they give the ball back to the opposition. - With only 39% of the ball somewhat of their own doing (11 incomplete sets ) they were not able to put pressure on the Parra defence including the leg up repeat sets and set restarts - only one back to back set from a set restart - Parra had 6 and forced 4 line drop outs as well.

It was a winnable game just the execution was off

Chooks need have high set completions and to minimise errors and set restarts and penalties - defence also is a WIP - some poor reads and players still rushing out of the line- need to work on the old straight line of defence working as a unit and not at times as individuals.

        You're not wrong.

Our luck has to even out and turn eventually, surely.

At full strength, we would be unstoppable. This depth building has to be positive for the medium to long term, though.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
