He is an NRL player and a Chooks player so get behind him or follow someone else . Pretty poor to dish him though one has to honestly say. You can't do what he does and none of this oh i can have an opinion though as that doesn't change that fact.

It would be great to have a forward pack full of Radleys & Chrichtons' but its not realistic. Nat Butcher is a reliable solid player- his defence is excellent & he runs hard & can pop a decent pass occasionally..... but he isn't a game breaker or spectacular. He knows his role and most times does whats asked of him

Just for you guys that have criticised Butcher in the past, I'll put it into perspective for you.
He tackles his arse off for us, in every game he plays in.
Sure, he is not the biggest guy on the football field, and sometimes he might get overpowered by much bigger forwards.
But that's nothing compared to some complete and utter failures that I saw over the weekend.
The first is Dylan Edwards , the Penriff fullback - he got pushed off and was left floundering by the Knights winger - his attempted tackle was pitiful.
The second was a joint effort by Josh McGuire and Andrew McCulloch on our own Joey Manu - Their attempted tackles around Joey's head when he scored that try were laughable.
If I was the coach of the 3 players just mentioned, I'd have them in reserve grade next week.
As for our own Roosters, praise the Lord that we rarely see defensive efforts like that.

Those on here that dish players are as rock solid as liquid water when it comes to Chooks players - one week dishing them and the next licking their boots and some times doing this in the same game. Would hate to be in the trenches with them is all i can say.

Watching the replay of Butcher driving Walker onto the ground to score his try, ouch! If he was doing CPR on a minor he would have killed him/her. Tough bugger Sammy!

Nat Butcher was outstanding today in all facets.

He is an excellent first grader, who still may reach greater heights as he's only young.

A coach like Madge would kill to have Butch leading the Tigers pack with his D and consistency.

Butcher is a good player. Some on here have always said he is too small. The same people get the same complaint at home. One thing I do see is, Walker and Butcher read each other well, which is a good thing.

Don’t need to be a star to be a good player. Hutchinson plays straight and is a good player. He is only young and will be there unless injuries play their part. Not everyone can be flashy, but not everyone can play straight.
