I sat with Wayne Bennett once too in business class going home to Qld as he was friends with my uncles and went to school with my sister. He offered to get someone to take me to Roma St bus terminal so I could get the bus home to Warwick as Mum was very ill.

I did some business with Mark Bouris in the early to mid 90's when we were both based in Double Bay. We had a laugh at being Roosters supporters even though i went to Bankstown Boys high and he went to Punchbowl Boys high. He wasn't well known back then nor was he on the board of directors.
I remember him as being a real nice guy and very down to earth. I hope he hasn't changed

When I was a teacher his kids laughed at how shyte my car was (in a good hearted way, it was shyte), but they were all super chilled about me parking outside their house and randomly invited me in for beers a couple of times. I didn't know them all that well (kids were in my class + met him at parent teacher night) but yeah... I always had positive interactions with them.Originally posted by Random Rooster View PostI did some business with Mark Bouris in the early to mid 90's when we were both based in Double Bay. great story - but what were you thinking?!Originally posted by Paddo Colt 61 View PostYeah? Well I actually got done over by couple of the best, a close associate and Neddy Smith. In the mid 60s I went with another Paddo guy to a party in Penkivil St Bondi. During the night I saw that the outside laundry was stacked with boxes of single malt whisky. There was also a couple of guys in white suits which was very rare back then and one of the girls yelled "Bizza don't ring London!" when he picked up the phone at one point. They were Bizza Moore and Smith (any reader that got whacked with an metal bar outside the Bronte dance on a Sunday night in the early 60s might now put that down to B&N). And because I didnt know that I resolved to leave, scale the side fence and relieve them of a box of single malt which I then did up to landing on he ground noisily and alerting the old mum sweeping up. Back over the fence, down Penkivil across to Ocean Avenue heading for Bondi Road and a cab.
Then the lights of this big Pontiac turned into Ocean going very slowly. Both doors flung out, 2 white suits, heavy chains in cloth sheaths to avoid tangle. I got hit 3 or 4 times and had an ear mangled before the flight reaction set in. They didn't give up. Chased us round a couple more streets till we hid under a pile of tree clippings. Even got out a torch and scanned the trees. It was a lark, thieving from the thieves. Woulda killed us.
As you were please. More about Jeff, was he connected to the Legends? The brother's doing life for male murder/rape.

First class? You had to get that in somewhere and of course that's where you're coming from. Here was me thinking you're a Right Wing working class battler when all the time you're a wannabe (or a Qantas employee). Cheers buddy.

There is no first class on domestic flights, only business class.
