He would certainly be more liked than Wil Chamber, apparently very disliked.

Its funny with Smith, I know a couple of people that have met him and from all counts a very nice and likeable fellow.
Although after hearing excerpts from his book I think that might not be the case, talking about McKinnon apologising to him not the other way round is not really going to make too many people impressed. I do realise that the excerpts were selective
