Probably the worst commentary I have personally heard watching a footy game. My god. I ended up muting the TV for the last 10 or so minutes, he was disgraceful all night.

his commentary was a disgrace. I respect Gus knowledge and for what he did for our club, but seriously , it was unprofessional. I didn't think Melb were ever going to lose that game . and they didn't. I think Penrith will drop like a stone next year. roosters, souffs , Canberra, Melb, will all finish ahead of them.

The annoying part is that we didn’t get a choice live other than NINE tonight. Yes, it’s no different to any other year but in any other year, the Riff aren’t in a GF so Gus’ dribble is usually slightly bearable.

Wouldn't call it 'biased' but he wasn't throwing his golden voice forward as if he were Alan Jones selling a scripted Liberal Party slogan. He was much quieter and more balanced. TBH I thought he did an okay job...

First time I’ve watched NRL on channel 9 all year. Complete rubbish all round. Gould is only part of it. As for the game itself, it was a crap game; more like the 5:30 pm Saturday night game that no one watches, with the main game on next. Not a classic and defines what a horrible year 2020 has been.
