  • Robbo

Does anyone else sense some friction or tension in Robbo ?

Tonight loved his passion on the box but he looks extremely pissed off, could it be due to SBW?

Team haven’t looked settled since his arrival.

Apologise in advance if this offends anyone it’s just my thought and observation.

    No, I don't think so.

He knew a lot was on the line tonight and perhaps his frustration boiled over and just got the better of him. NRL coaching is a pretty hard gig I think. I like to see his human, passionate side come out from time to time.
    MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

He’s been really tested this year and it’s showing, but not in a bad way. Deep down I think he’s absolutely loving this kind of challenge to test himself.

Kind of alright with the emotion. Maybe will help get the team up for the ensuing weeks

Yeah agree I like to see it too. But when its new behaviour it points to something different in his thought processes. He never did that last year.

I don’t think so. But if I was him I’d be more seething at the garbage spewed out of the mouth of Gus Gould.

                  Def not.

I’m basically saying Robbo looks angry, which I love but it’s unlike him.

He knows the refs are a bunch of cheats and we are playing against 14 each week and is sick of this garbage.
Postgame he made a point to say we wouldn’t get a helping hand multiple times

I think he has tried addressing this privately but it’s about time he releases his anger to the media.

The game has become to fast for 1 official, they can’t maintain the 10m as they have to look what’s happening at the ruck.

the 10meter is no where near as good as what it was the first few games post COVID

I would say Robbo is just pissed at seeing his team perform like trash for 120 mins straight before finally pulling the lead out.

Robbo has also never been one to like players playing for penalties. Its why were are quite literally the only team in the comp that doesn't do it. The most you'll see any player in our side do is get up and then just refuse to play the ball hoping someone will point out the high shot they just got hit with

I watched that press conference. That was a furious human being sitting there. Not at the players, not at Sonny Bill but at the Ref's. His "we weren't going to get any help out there" comment was as close to saying the Ref was biased without it costing 20k.

I love robbo, his pressers especially, keeps it polite and respectful but will stand on his digs if he has to.

Most of all he feels like a deeply passionate fan of the team I love as well as our coach.

I think it's great seeing him get animated in the box the man breathes red white and blue.
