  • Jarred's Form

I think Jarred has really struggled the back end of this season. He seems to have lost his mojo and his agro. As our forward leader we really need more from him Everyone was poor and unmotivated last night but we have come to expect more form our leader. If we are to progress into week 3 of the finals Jarred needs to be firing.

100%. Our wins have masked his form and like you say his aggression with ball in hand. Obviously he could/is carrying niggling injuries but most are at this time of year. Love JWH, but no denying he has been poor by his lofty standards.
I also NEVER thought I would say this but gee we missed Collins last night, a genuine pig who bends the line

Yeah he doesn’t seem quite the same this year. He may be starting to feel his age a bit. Looking forward to getting Collins and Liu back next week.

We certainly had the pack to overwhelm Souths shitty pack last night. Just no aggression or line speed or attitude.

We'll see if it's a form issue next week, it's pretty clear he's been managed through a lot of matches this year so he's carrying more than a niggle IMO, likely looking at some cleanup surgery in the offseason.

The Warriors game where their front rower (who was on loan from Penrith) really got the best of Jarred and Jarred refused to shake his hand after the game. This was un-Jarred like.

You are correct about JWH - he hasn’t found his legs all year and he certainly has lost his speed. The current rules I think dont suit him now as he is not as mobile as before.

We got a lot of old guys. Last night rang the bell on a few of them.

I reckon he's been carrying niggles all year and I was surprised he played last night. Last week when they were walking around the ground after Aubos presentation he was walking with a limp with Robbo at the back.

He made 38 tackles by half time. 58 in total.
And made more metres than any other from our pack.
Probably our best forward on the night.

                        Yup.

Played the whole first 40 also.

Some people just expect too much, all the time.

Jared will silence the critics when it matters most... and that wasn't last night.

                        It begins next week.

He did do 51 or so tackles which probably blunted his impact against the vermins mediocre pack. The

I don’t question his efforts just a obvious observation on his running speed.
